We have spoken with our state attorney general’s office and the pima county attorney’s office, we have partnered with a land use attorney, and local advocacy attorneys, we are looking into public nuisance suits, and have again and again asked the Marana City Council to pass a resolution. We have requested as much public information as we can, and have been sifting through emails between MTC and state entities, sales contracts, and requirements imposed by DHS. The more we read, the clearer it is that the bottom line for DHS and MTC is profit, and that they are not accountable to anyone from this community.”
